FMPA’s Substation Training series provides courses specifically designed for substation personnel and other crews who work in and around substations. The courses are designed to provide participants with in-depth instruction on substation-related topics and are tailored to the specific equipment of the attendee’s utilities, where possible.

Foreman Academy Certification – CANCELLED

This certification series provides courses specifically designed for lineworker personnel.  It is a good fit for up and coming leaders or those already in the role.  It provides crew leaders and general foremen with the knowledge and tools to lead crews efficiently, responsibly, and safely. The course will be presented by certified training specialists from Tennessee Valley Public Power Association (TVPPA).

Human Resources Roundtable

Join us for a Human Resources virtual roundtable to discuss issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

As businesses wait to get more information on the newly signed Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES), join other HR professions via teleconference to share thoughts, concerns and questions. FMPA’s labor attorney, Chris Hammond with Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C., will be on the call to provide an overview of the new laws and answer questions.
