FMPA Employees are Available to Our Members

FMPA members can request assistance from the Agency in a variety of technical and professional disciplines.

Legal

FMPA’s legal team is available to assist members with a range of legal matter, including tax-related issues, Public Service Commission tariff filings, territorial disputes, general contracting issues and more.

Regulatory Compliance

FMPA assists its members with reliability standards of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation. FMPA provides help to individual members with compliance matters, coordinates information sharing among members on standards, operates a peer review process for compliance and actively participates in the standards-development process.

IT and Cybersecurity

FMPA’s Information Technology and Cybersecurity teams are available to help members with cybersecurity matters for both corporate and operational technology systems. Contact FMPA for assistance with cybersecurity assessments, phishing prevention programs and more.

Utility Rate Services

FMPA can perform retail rate reviews for its members or help manage a consultant to perform an independent cost of service study.

Salary Survey

FMPA performs an annual salary and benefit survey among Florida’s municipal electric utilities. With data specific to Florida, the information is valuable for benchmarking purposes.

Email Surveys

Upon the request of a member, FMPA performs email surveys among municipal utilities in a wide range of topical areas. The results can help members with program development, obtain information for benchmarking purposes or provide insights for many other useful purposes.
