Our Relationships with Vendors Provide Value to Our Members
FMPA works with vendors to provide goods and services that support the Agency’s mission to provide low-cost, reliable and clean power. In addition, FMPA coordinates a Joint Purchasing Project among its members to help them save time, money and resources in the procurement of common goods and services.
FMPA’s Joint Purchasing Project issues bids for common utility goods and services on behalf of members to simplify purchasing and reduce costs. The Agency also issues requests for proposals, requests for qualifications and other types of bids for its own operations.
Transmission Interconnection Requests
FMPA manages bulk electric system transmission that is owned by itself or its All-Requirements Project members. Part of this role includes handling transmission interconnection requests, which are required for generation, transmission and end-use facilities to connect to the transmission system. Download the Facility Connection Requirements for more information about the transmission connection process and facility connection technical requirements. Applications will be processed in the order they are received in the Transmission Connection Queue. For more information, contact us.
