The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) Standards of Conduct govern the relationship between a Transmission Provider’s transmission function employees and its marketing function employees.
The Standards of Conduct prevent undue preference or discrimination by requiring transmission function and marketing function employees must operate independently of each other and requiring certain transmission function information to be publicly posted.
