Trainings and Roundtables

This certification series provides courses specifically designed for lineworker personnel. It is a good fit for up and coming leaders or those already in the role. It provides crew leaders and general foremen with the knowledge and tools to lead crews efficiently, responsibly, and safely. The course will be presented by certified training specialists from Tennessee Valley Public Power Association (TVPPA).

Lineman Apprenticeship Lab 2: Fundamentals is part of the TVPPA Apprenticeship Lineman Training Program.

Lineman Apprenticeship Lab 3: Operations is part of the TVPPA Apprenticeship Lineman Training Program.

This is a 5-day hands-on advanced level lab, which may be taken as a part of the Electrical Metering Certification Program.

Lineman Apprenticeship Pre-Apprentice Assessment Workshop is part of the TVPPA Apprenticeship Lineman Training Program.

The Substation Roundtable provides a forum for substation related crews to exchange ideas on operating practices, safety, training, tools and equipment, and other common issues.
