ORLANDO, Fla., December 5, 2001 – The Florida Municipal Power Agency announced today that its electric operations are healthy and have no exposure to the serious difficulties being experienced by Enron Corp.

“FMPA has no net income exposure to Enron,” said Mary Ann Davis, FMPA’s director of finance and CFO. “FMPA’s power marketing representatives discontinued doing business with Enron’s marketing and trading operation in October 2001 when the company first started to disclose its problems.”
