Fifth and final audit response report submitted to Florida’s Auditor General

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 22, 2016 – Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) today provided the Florida Auditor General with FMPA’s final report explaining how it addressed all 15 of the Auditor General’s recommendations.

FMPA’s governing boards and member utilities take very seriously the recommendations of the Auditor General issued in March 2015. As evidence of this commitment, FMPA voluntarily committed to file progress reports every 60 days until all recommendations were addressed. The report filed today is FMPA’s fifth and final report. This report documents the actions FMPA has taken during its monthly meetings to quickly and thoroughly complete work on all 15 audit findings.
