FMPA Closes Orlando Office for Hurricane Irma
Operating staff available to assist electric utilities with power restoration
ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 8, 2017 – Due to Hurricane Irma, FMPA will close its Orlando office today at 1 p.m. and expects to remain closed until Tuesday, Sept. 12. However, FMPA’s essential operating personnel are available to assist with power restoration.
After the storm passes Orlando, FMPA will assess the impacts on its Orlando office to see if we can re-open Tuesday, as planned. As soon as we have new information, we will update FMPA’s website. Updates will also be posted to FMPA’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
