Fiscal 2024: Mission Possible
Our mission is simple: to provide low-cost, reliable power. However, that can be easier said than done. From volatile markets to natural disasters to changes in demand, everyday obstacles can impede our progress. But 2024 was different – we proved our mission is achievable. We saw average municipal energy prices drop across the state without sacrificing reliability and while working to expand solar efforts.

Fiscal 2023: For the Record
A lot can happen in 45 years. Big change often brings disruption, adaptation, and eventually adoption, and, in the more than 45 years since FMPA formed on Feb. 24, 1978, we have witnessed this firsthand. In this milestone year, we are celebrating four and a half decades of change and growth with our members while always maintaining the same mission: providing reliable, low-cost energy to customers.

The energy industry has faced many challenges over the past 12–18 months. As a result, our power costs are up, and customers are struggling to pay their electric bills. Fiscal 2020: 70-60-50 Together We Can
Customers need electricity to be low cost and reliable, and customers want electricity to be clean. FMPA has made significant strides meeting these expectations, and we’re determined to do more. Looking ahead, we’ve set some big goals. We are committed to doing all we can to meet these objectives because that’s how we’ll deliver true value to our members.
