OSHA 30 Hour Card – Part 2
Overview
The 30-Hour OSHA Outreach Training Program for General Industry is divided into two sessions. These topics require at least 13 hours of student contact time. The remaining topics will be covered in Part 2.
The program is part of Tennessee Valley Public Power Association’s (TVPPA) Certified Safety Coordinator (CSC) program.
CERTIFIED SAFETY COORDINATOR (CSC): Individuals responsible for safety management must have current, professional knowledge and expertise to achieve and maintain a safe work environment and work practices for utility employees. TVPPA developed the Certified Safety Coordinator (CSC) to address modern health and safety issues. All course requirements satisfactorily completed within four years of starting the program by taking a required core course.

- OSHA 30 Hr. Card – Part 1
- OSHA 30 Hr. Card – Part 2
- Utility Work Practices Rule Compliance
- Rigging, Hoisting, Hand and Power Tool Safety
- Transportation Safety
- Accident Investigation
- National Electrical Safety Code Review
Participants may complete the course as a standalone course outside of pursuing CSC certification.
