Short videos educate electric customers on ways to save energy and money

ORLANDO, Fla., April 22, 2016 – Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) works to make every day an earth day by providing clean, reliable power, and it helps electric customers conserve energy and save money by providing free, energy conservation videos. FMPA released seven new videos today in celebration of Earth Day.

One of the most important opportunities to help the environment and reduce electricity costs for consumers is energy conservation. That’s why FMPA’s member utilities produced these 60-second videos to provide quick tips on energy efficiency topics, including air conditioners, airflow, insulation, lighting, pools, appliances and water usage.

“Our goal is to help customers save money and protect the environment,” said FMPA General Manager and CEO Nicholas Guarriello. “The videos are a quick and entertaining way to learn about energy conservation.”
