ORLANDO, Fla., October 2, 2023 – Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) has received a Top Workplaces of Central Florida award, presented by the Orlando Sentinel Media Group. This is the fourth consecutive year the Agency has been recognized as a Top Workplaces recipient.

“Every day, our team works tirelessly to carry out our mission of providing affordable and reliable power to our members and the communities they serve,” said Jacob Williams, CEO and general manager of FMPA. “We strive to create a work environment where team members feel included, engaged and informed, and our continued presence on the Top Workplace recipient list helps cement those objectives.”

The award was presented on September 29 at a recognition luncheon hosted by the Orlando Sentinel Media Group.

Recipients of the Top Workplaces award are selected based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization including alignment, execution, and connection.

FMPA currently employs 72 employees in its Orlando office.
