Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) was named by the Orlando Sentinel as one of the Top Workplaces in Central Florida for 2022. This is the third consecutive year the Agency has been honored with this award.

The Top Workplaces award recognizes companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to company culture and employee engagement. FMPA was ranked 52^nd of all small companies with 35 to 165 employees.

“Our team’s dedication is key to delivering on FMPA’s mission to provide affordable, reliable power to our members and their communities, representing nearly 2.7 million Floridians,” said Jacob Williams, FMPA General Manager and CEO. “We are honored to be recognized for our efforts to create an engaging and inclusive workplace for our team who works relentlessly toward this mission.”

Companies recognized on the list were chosen through an anonymous employee feedback survey conducted by Energage, an independent, third-party organization. The survey focuses on 24 base statements that prompt responses representing four cultural imperatives: Align, Connect, Coach and Performance. These cultural imperatives seek to measure employees’ perceptions of the organization’s efficacy, support and engagement.
