Power plants operating as normal and staff available to assist with restoration efforts

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 28, 2022 – Due to Hurricane Ian, FMPA is closing its Orlando office today at noon and expects to remain closed until Monday, Oct. 3. However, FMPA’s power plants will continue to operate as normal and personnel are available to assist with power generation and restoration efforts.

After the storm passes Orlando, FMPA will assess the impacts on its Orlando office to see if we can re-open on Monday, as planned. Updates will be posted to FMPA’s website and on FMPA’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
