DESCRIPTION: FMPA is hosting representatives from Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Central Florida Intelligence Exchange (CFIX) , Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC), and others to present on the recent substation attacks, what our members should be aware of, providing opportunities to connect with law enforcement or governmental agencies, and understand what considerations members should review for their own substations.
The workshop will cover the recent substation attacks that have happened across the nation, how the federal resources work with local law enforcement in these kinds of events, a discussion on who, how, and when to reach out if an attack were to happen on your facility, and considerations for best practices for physical security of substations.
