Paul Kalv, Vice Chairman

Paul Kalv is Utility Director for the city of Leesburg, Fla., and he serves as the elected Vice Chairman of the Florida Municipal Power Agency.

Kalv was elected as FMPA's Vice Chairman in July 2009. He has served on FMPA's Board of Directors since 2007.

Kalv has more than 18 years of experience in the utility industry. He has served as Leesburg's Utility Director since 2006. Prior to joining the city of Leesburg, he served four years as Director of Danville Power & Light, Va.

Kalv holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida and a master's degree in business administration from the Univerity of Miami, Fla.
