Paul Kalv, Vice Chairman

Paul Kalv is Electric Director for the city of Leesburg, Fla., and he serves as the elected Vice Chairman of the Florida Municipal Power Agency.

Kalv was elected as FMPA's Vice Chairman in July 2009 and re-elected in 2010 and 2012. He has served on FMPA's Board of Directors since 2007.

Kalv has more than 43 years of experience in the utility industry, including the past 20 years with municipal electric utilities. He has served as Leesburg's Electric Director since 2006. Prior to joining the city of Leesburg, he served four years as Director of Danville Power & Light, Va.

Kalv holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Miami, Fla.
