Dramatic re-design features new technology, functions and content for today’s web surfers

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 24, 2014 – Visitors to Florida Municipal Power Agency’s primary external website, www.FMPA.com, will see a dramatically different website debuting today, built for today’s web surfers.

The new site is compatible with mobile users, has enhanced site features, and sports a fresh design. Many of the updates were inspired by feedback received through an online survey of site visitors and a roundtable of Agency staff.

Visitors to the updated site will be able to:

• Browse on Any Mobile Device: The new site features a mobile-friendly responsive design, which will resize for easy use on smart phones, tablets and other devices.
• Quickly Complete Popular Tasks: Frequently used features, like the events calendar and contact form, can now be found in the main menu for quick access. Additionally, visitors can now add events to their personal calendars and register for FMPA trainings and meetings in the same location.
• Get to Know FMPA: com is the first contact many people have with the Agency, so the new site is designed to welcome first-time visitors and introduce them to FMPA and its mission.

FMPA’s new site was designed and programmed by BIGEYE, an Orlando-based advertising agency, with content written by FMPA staff.
